Whataboutism and  leaving people alive is hardly an accomplishment 

Leaving the natives of a conquered land alive and unharmed is evidence that the conquerors weren't bloodthirsty savages like you picture them. Islam conquered all of its current lands; if the picture you draw about Muslims is true then half of the globe would be empty.
