The awkward moment where you find out that there's a reason some horrific scenes are more effective when you don't see the brutality on screen:



Well, that ear is clearly fake. Good thing Tarantino had the sense to pan away when the ear was actually being cut, because if that deleted scene from the Blu-Ray was in the film proper, it'd be something everyone was talking about because it was so clearly fake and not because it was shocking.
