No, I wouldn't be afraid to go sea some seals. I wouldn't be bothered by the infinitesimal chance that a shark might jump up and get me.
You should watch less television and read more science.

The show I was watching wasn't claiming that shark attacks are like gun violence. I also dont want to get shot by a gun. I also don't want to get run over crossing the street, but getting shot or run over are far more likely than getting attacked by a shark. Still doesn't mean I want to be attacked by a shark.
