The invasion of the Iberian peninsula happened around 725 CE and the first sieges of Constantinople occurred around the same time.
There was also an Islamic invasion of France at about the same time.
These are instances of Islamic aggression that occurred centuries before the Crusades, so I don't understand any assertions about the eventual conquest of Constantinople being in response to the Crusades.
The first clash ever between Muslims and the Byzantines occurred in the battle of Mu'tah in 629 CE, after a Byzantine vessel executed the Muslim emissary sent to the ruler of Bosra:

The Byzantines were reoccupying territory following the peace accord between Emperor Heraclius and the Sasanid general Shahrbaraz in July 629.[14] The Byzantine sakellarios Theodore,[15] was placed in command of the army, and while in the area of Balqa, Arab tribes were also employed.[14]
Meanwhile, Muhammad had sent his emissary to the ruler of Bosra.[16] While on his way to Bosra, he was executed in the village of Mu'tah by the orders of a Ghassanid official.[16]
The messages Mohammed -peace be upon him- sent to all the emperors of the world didn't ever threaten anyone but rather told the heads of state about Islam:

From Muhammad, son of Abdullah to Heraclius the Leader of the Romans:
Peace be upon he who follows the guidance.
Furthermore, I invite you with the invitation of peace. If you submit then you will find safety and God will double your reward. If you turn away, you will bear the Arians’ sins.
"O People of the Scripture! Come to a common word between us and you: that we shall worship none but God, and that we shall ascribe no partner unto Him, and that none of us shall take others for lords beside God. And if they turn away, then say: Bear witness that we are they who have surrendered (unto Him).
— Quran, Chapter: Aal Imran “The House of Joachim” 3:64
Killing the emissary was nothing but a war declaration; a war that both Persia and Constantinople lost.
About the invasion of France; I never defended such act, I call it terrorism and just like the Romans and the Persians, the Ummayads got defeated and lost all the lands they stole by the sword from others. Just to be clear; the tyranny of the Ummayads hurt Muslims in Arabia before it hurts foreign people.
