Plus Vlad Tepes and his brother were raped 1st as hostages in Murad II palace, then when freed later were raped as punishment for disobeying the Ottoman Empire. Before Bramstroker, Vlad Tepes was considered a hero who latter was betrayed by an ally, sent to prison in the christian church (which made him out to be a villain) and later was killed by the Ottomans.

Fyi: Vlad III is still considered to be a hero in Romania. I was there, i have seen it. I have talked to people.
Btw: There is one who did even more damage to the Ottomans, who suffered their biggest military defeat ever by his very hands. Someone who even supported Vlad (buz couldnt avoid him being murderd): Stefan cel mare/Stephen the Great. He just didnt put people on pikes, but definitely killed more Ottomans than Vlad.

But Atlass probably doesnt know this one either. "Vlad Tepes" is just another of his (he thinks so) "gotcha" phrases to stop any menaingful interaction. He is not interested in interaction, but in silencing opposition.

He wants to condem Vlad for fighting the Ottomans? Then he must condemn Arminius for fighting the romans. Vlad is a terrorist to the Ottomans and a freedom fighter for the Wallachians. Vlad put Ottomans on pikes, Arminius sacfrificed roman pows on altars to his gods.

Once again, Atlass has neither the will nor the intellectual curiosity to discuss these complex topics. These issues are only a mean to en end, and that end is to portray him and his likes as "good guys" and everyone else as "bad", and stifle any progress in meaningful ways to adress them.

One could even make the point that Tepes was cleverer than Hermann the German. Arminius used Roman tactics to defeat the Romans, whereas Vlad was a true original.
