Can fundamentalists be funny?

In my experience, yes, very funny. Their jokes just consist of poking mild fun at easily exploitable tropes in their in group. Like talking in church, or that one time while I was spanking my child. Within their group they have loads of fun because people are like that. And, an outsider would find their humor disturbing sometimes because their value system is so different.
