Trump is now asking for drug tests before the debates. Giving him more credit that he probably deserves, this is pretty cagey of him. He doesn’t really want to debate Biden, because - at some point - Biden will call him a liar and Trump with either lose it completely or walk out.
Knowing that it’s a long shot that Biden will agree to drug tests, Trump is hoping that will give him the ammo to 1) refuse to debate and 2) call Biden a coward.
Or (as is much more likely) it’s just the latest in a long line of distractions.
