Full freezer conundrum

Deer season coming - and a buddy just offered me a hell of a deal on ground beef. Grass fed Holzstein....
He is going to butcher several and says he will give me all the lean burger I want at $2 a pound.

My sister and my SO are both planning on hunting (already have tags) I have 6 tags myself..

Thing is - I prefer beef burger for hamburgers. ( venison burgers tend to fall apart - not enough fat)

And right now - freezers are hard to come by cheap. (Due Chinese tariffs).

Shit...

I'm sure a food bank would love extra beef and venison. Stop whining and step up.

Does your state have a donate deer program?

Considering my income - or lack thereof - a food bank withdrawl seems far more likely.

I get by, by getting what I can on the cheap. I butcher my own so venisin costs are quite low. Less than 50 cents a pound for licensing.
