If end-time prophesies are true, then:
* Creationists are right. The world was created for humans a short time ago, was a failure, and is scheduled for quick termination.
Unfortunately, science shows us the vastness of the universe, of which we are only a speck. In existence in its current form for 13.7 Billion years, it will likely continue for unimaginable time (barring a big crunch).
Why not entertain the idea that end-time prophesy is all just a scary bedtime story?
Human beings evolved to live on this planet -- it wasn't created for us. Sure, we can kill ourselves, but if we do, it seems that bible-believing Christians will be the ones gleefully pushing the button.
