I built my dust collector for my sandblast cabinet.
It's similar to a Torit in construction. Wood/plywood construction with a squirrel cage blower and 4 - meter long sock type 10 micron filters...
I built mine for the table saw, the chop saw, the jointer, the planer, the router table, the band saw, and the spindle sander. I seriously considered going with the inline blowers (I think that’s what you meant by ‘squirrel cage’?) but that would have meant more to power and clean, considering the amount of dust I produce.
