Just not to create another separate thread, because THIS time it wasn't me, but still embarrassing.
Ok, so I take the cab to my local grocery store, buy some stuff, and my debit card works. BUT, I forgot kitty litter. I go back I grab it, scan it, hit pay, and "CARD DECLINED"....... Shit, so I try again. "CARD DECLINED" again..... FUCKITY FUCK! All I could think was, "How the hell am I going to pay the cabby?
So I walk back to the cab, with the stuff I did pay for, and tell her what happened. Fortunately for me I am a very frequent customer and they know I have more than one account. She was willing to wait until the bank opened in the morning and pick up the fair tomorrow. But, I told her to stop by the ATM anyway so I could check my balance. AND WHAT DO YOU KNOW, I wasn't out of money on that debit card, it was a card reading error at the grocery store. Happy ending, I was able to pay her, I had plenty of money on that card.
