Exactly how many UNJUSTIFIED shootings do you suppose happen in the US per year? You act as it were an hourly occurance. Do you think that cops draw down on every traffic stop?
It’s difficult to tell how many unjustified shootings happen per year, since (for reasons which should be embarrassingly obvious), unjustified shootings are rarely reported - there’s not enough of a database to draw a conclusion.
But what number are YOU willing to accept? 500? 50? 2? At what point does the number of times police shoot an unarmed or fleeing suspect (and the word is ‘suspect’, not ‘perp’) become acceptable to you?
