After boot camp I put "Zoroastrian" in the "Religion" box.
My last ship, we were asked if anyone needed new dog tags. One guy got new ones with "Druid" as the religion.
Dunno if it’s still the case, but if you were arrested in Northern Ireland, you had to disclose your religion (for obvious reasons). There’s a story - probably true - of a man who told the booking sergeant he was an atheist. The cop didn’t have a check-box on his form for that, so he asked, ‘Are you a Catholic atheist or a Protestant atheist?’
