They are exactly the same....


Wailing children who think that if they kick and scream loud enough and cause enough mayhem that they will get their way.

Their CAUSE is different - but their actions identical.

You are never justified being a shithead. Regardless of your cause.

The cause is what makes all the difference.

Suppose I take an axe, smash my way through your front door, and drag your unconscious body outside where I throw you into the back of a vehicle that speeds away with you.

Now, my cause could be that I want to carry you off to my secret lair and harvest your organs. Alternately, I could be a fireman saving your life.

My actions are the same in both cases, but my causes are different. Am I a shithead in both cases?

Not a good analogy.

When you "hold a protest" you are assuming responsibility for it going tits up and turning into a riot.


When it goes from protest to riot - you lose any moral high ground you might have.

Being an appologist for a riot because "it's a good cause" makes you as big a shithead as the rioters...

It is why I see protests as a bad idea.

Got a cause? Great. Organize. Raise funding. Sue the shit out of the opposition.
