Oh, no, they'll still be there. They just won't be encouraged or supported by the president. Infowars and Breitbart rose to prominence with Obama in office and Faux News became a thing during the Clinton administration.
If Biden and the democrats REALLY want to get rid of crazy, ring wing propaganda, they would be using even just a slight majority to run gang busters, put in all those "socialist" policies Faux News always clutches their pearls over. Give us Single payer healthcare, eviction protections from the covid crisis, raise the upper tax rate, bring back strong unions, raise the minimum wage and start using those anti-trust laws to break up all these increasingly consolidated companies that are putting a stranglehold on society. When these policies are put in place and the people realize they're benefiting them, Faux News will be forced to change their tune or die.
If what I've been reading elsewhere is correct, Faux News rating have dropped dramatically recently. They're now a distant third behind CNN abd MSN.
