That's not true either.  Society defined southern and eastern europeans, irish too, as non white.  Each of these is, today, counted as white.  New york has been 3/4 non white at multiple times in it's history.  By a definition of whiteness imposed by society, the us has been majority non white for about two centuries.  Under an inclusive view which includes all people who self identify as white, it will remain majority white indefinitely.

Speaking of, projections of non whiteness based on census data - which is not a genetic survey, surround the percentage of families described as multiethnic or multiracial.  80% of these families have at least one white parent.  Are these children white babies, are they members of a white race?  I have as little interest in what society thinks as any polish or irish or italian immigrant, or indeed as any member of a multiracial or multiethnic family would.  

Society can think whatever they want for whatever that's worth.  You expressed that you felt compelled to acknowledge a reality in which whites were being replaced.  If 80% of the children that are expected to create this churrning of non whiteness will, in fact - or even within two generations will, ibn fact, be white - then we're at an impasse between your position and reality until such time as -you- can probvide whatever -you- think -you- mean when -you- claim that whites are being replaced.

What is being replaced.  How do you identify a white baby, in order to say that whites need to make more of them to avoid becoming a minority?

Maybe the Irish and Italians didn't used to be white, and then they were accepted into the white fam by society and that's what made them white. "White" is an invented term that means whatever society wants it to mean. It's not necessarily some set in stone thing that can't change over time.

If a black person and a white person have a baby, it would be multi-racial, but society sees that baby as black, and that child will very rarely identify with their white side, and instead prefer to be called black, and so they will be counted as black. That child will be more likely to have brown skin than pale skin.

What society considers white at this time and place in history is what's being replaced. Their numbers are projected to shrink and the numbers of others are projected to grow.
