If by "not nice" you mean openly hostile to media that criticized them then yes.

 but I voted for Harper. 

My sympathy 

I also voted him out. 

Too little too late 

 I never understood the hate for the man.  

Yeah, who couldn't dislike a wannabe autocrat who had contempt for being held accountable? who laissez-faire attitude on human rights and a contempt for science and a free press.

He was a smart pragmatist. 

He was as morally compromised shishter

 Only when he started to cave into the right-wing of his party toward the end did he seal his fate.

Nope from the moment, he took the job 

When its time to kick the Liberals out, I only hope we get a Conservative leader half as reasonable and intelligent as Harper.

And journalists aren't supposed to be so obviously partisan while covering election results.

As long as it doesn't affect their reporting i don't really care
