It is the responsibility of the government to stop crimes. if crime is occuring, that is the government's problem, & if they can't or won't stop it, then they are to blame.
Probably better aimed at the last guy than the new one. Crime and cruelty was the point of those policies. Here again I'd point out that there's actually no shortage of legitimate gripes with this administration to be had, but human traffickers...trafficking humans? Nope. That's on them.
