He wasn't found in his room at home, though.  He was found underneath the knee of another man.  Again, the charges can't be defended against in this way - we're all mortal, we'll all be shuffling off this coil some day or another, some way or another.  That we'll all die some day or could some other way is not a defense against murder.

Very true, but it does take away from the narrative that he was choked to death, although the 2nd autopsy says it was the neck and not heart failure that killed him. When I have conflicting autopsy reports, what am I to think?

• Two autopsy reports said the manner of George Floyd’s death was a homicide. Neither said the cause of his death was a fentanyl overdose.
  
• The Hennepin County medical examiner found fentanyl in Floyd’s system, but the autopsy said the cause of his death was “cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law-enforcement subdual restraint, and neck compression.”
