Operating Systems treated as a religion? (Linux)
#4
RE: Operating Systems treated as a religion? (Linux)
I have seen Linux users behave like a cult.  Their regard for Torvalds approaches worship, exceeding fanhood.  This also happened with Jobs and may get as bad with Musk.  I haven't noticed Gates worship, but it was likely out there.  I design hardware and firmware, and haven't written for a PC in a long time.  So, I don't get it.  They all have issues and present challenges.  That's a good thing.
