It didn't take years to find out that Saudi officials funded the hijackers. It just took years for the common man to be told the truth. That info was just kept classified to protect the Saudi government, one of the US's top allies.

And as far as media members thinking there were bombs in the buildings..

You’re actually attempting to conflate reporters speculating about the possibility of a bomb just hours after the attack with the video of Chauvin killing Floyd ten months ago? Do you grasp why that’s an inane comparison?

Huh? I never directly compared the two. You are the one that brought up 9/11 in the first place. Remember? You asked me if the news was questioning whether the planes brought down the towers, and I showed you reporters who were thinking it might be bombs. It was on other news stations too, saying that there could be explosive devices in the buildings. I don't think there were explosive devices, but you asked for an answer and you got one.

Read the entire conversation before posting. I said this is what the media said on air, not what I believed. I've never thought there were explosives in the buildings. It's not all that shocking that media would guess something like that though because obviously there was the WTC bombing in 1993. It could not be shown that any explosives were used in 01 though, so they were incorrect in their speculation.
