It's more likely IMO that the officer who was pressing on his back, thereby preventing him from inhaling, as with the killing of Tony Timpa (who nobody much gives a shit about, compared to this case, due to Timpa being white looking, BTW) was directly responsible for his death, not Chauvin. That officer isn't on trial however due to "SHOCKING OUTRAGE AT NECK KNEELING IMAGES!" sheeple bullshit. The world can be incredibly stupid at times...what's that saying about those two infinite things....the universe and...

They don’t give as much of a shit about Tony Timpa, A) because people aren’t yet, well, woke to what the struggles of life with mental illness actually are (like the fact that they’re far more likely to be the victim of violence than violent themselves, which the Timpa case illustrates damn well), and B) because there weren’t a bunch of onlookers to Timpa’s death to witness it, film it, and show the world what naked police brutality really looks like. We’ve been over this, dude. Especially the former point.
