I think that many people feel that Floyd's lifestyle comes into play here, and for me, it really doesn't. Yes, he had a drug problem, but his gf explained how that began and how he struggled to get off drugs. That said, it doesn't have anything to do with how he was apprehended, handled, mistreated and dealt with by Chauvin and his crew. From what I've heard in the various testimonies, he wasn't resisting arrest - sounds like he was having medical issues due to perhaps ingesting a large amount of drugs, but it doesn't make a difference to how Chauvin acted. Chauvin's life wasn't in danger, I don't care what he says - we all can watch these videos with our own eyes, and see what happened...from various angles. I hope that there is justice, and that this doesn't end in an acquittal.
