The judge had made it clear, and also instructed the jury, that his not taking the stand should not be equated to guilt or trying to hide something. That is right too.
But as an outside observer, after everything I have seen, I don't see how Chauvin doesn't get a conviction on something. Closing arguments start Monday. Prosecutor should simply pound home the 9 minutes and 3 minutes Floyd was passed out with no pulse. I don't think the jurry is going to buy all the distractions.
