I can understand that point of view. And it's not one of my favorites. But I did like the atmosphere, the dread, and the existential loss of identity within the grass. It made me feel anxious and eerie, "Why is this here? Is it the grass itself, like in The Ruins (2008)? Or is there something deeper, behind it?" And the stuff with the ancient stone. It left me unsettled and wanting to know more. In the same breath, I agree. It's not as strong as other things I've seen.
