But people have pointed out that his family history of sudden deaths in late middle age suggest Caesar suffered from genetic predisposition to heart or circulatory disease. In combination with his vertigo, headache, and other signs of health problems, this suggest his famed epileptic attacks were actually not epilepsy at all but a series of strokes and heart attacks.
