No it doesn't. It says apes and monkeys have a common ancestor with us.

That's slightly observant of you.

We all got it, even you.
(November 5, 2011 at 3:22 am)justthetruth Wrote: Besides they have never told us what those apes and monkeys evolved from.
Yes they did: Euarchontoglires (synonymous with Supraprimates), a clade of mammals, the living members of which are rodents, lagomorphs, treeshrews, colugos and primates (including humans).

Amen, bro, but I don't hold it against you.

Just humble, I reckon.

At least, not anymore, one trusts.

Thank you for this gift. It is petty of me, I know, to delight in the misfortune of those I disagree with, but this one is such a classic piece of ignorance. I literally can't count how many times I've heard the 'why are there still monkeys' question that's supposed to be such a stumper. Although I do enjoy challenges, sometimes it's fun just to unravel an easy one. I know others beat me to it, but I just had to. It's got to be some sort of mental block, because I've never heard someone ask, 'if Americans came from Europe, why are there still Europeans?', or 'if domestic cattle came from wild cattle, why are there still wild cattle?' Some sixth sense warns them that those are questions no adult that didn't suffer developmental problems should be stupid enough to ask, but if it's an 'evolution question', suddenly it makes sense to them.
I hope someone asks 'what good is half a wing?' soon.
