What are you suggesting Obama said? What is the truth you are implying he would be lying about in this statement? I suspect you are conflating "we can't explain" with "cannot be explained." The former is mundane and leads to nothing.
I'm not suggesting Obama said anything. He said it. The phenomena is real. Fake Messiah is the one that suggested senators and people like that were lying about UAP and USOs to fear monger about the New World Order or something. Fake Messiah claimed it was all birds, planes and weather balloons. Obama clearly just confirmed that that is not the case. We don't know exactly what it is. That's why it's called unidentified.
