Someone else buying a first class ticket in no way impacts your life. It doesn’t cost you any money, it doesn’t inconvenience you, it doesn’t make your own flight any better or worse, so why do you care?

Assholes at the top setting the price is EXACTLY the free market, because those prices are a response to market forces (if there wasn't a demand for $20K airfare, there would be no $20K airfare).

If you can accept that when a passenger jet has a catastrophic event, then the 1,000$  lobster in first class isn't going to mean shit even if that same person was eating that same lobster in coach at the back of the plane.

That's nonsense. It's like saying that no one should pay $200 000 for a Rolls-Royce, because they'd be just as dead if their luxury car fell down a 1000 foot ravine as if they were in a Corolla.
