Maybe not. The conservative wing of the SC has issued some surprising opinions.

The Late Antonin Scalia has in a couple gun cases said basically, that while the right to bare arms is a right, firearms, at the same time can be regulated. The far right always ignores even their own when they disagree with them.
I hope you are right, but I won't hold my breath.
