At best, I think the surviving sedevacantist movements tend to be more hanging on than catching on. They still exist, but they're not growing more popular. The numbers of groups will likely grow, but the number of adherents isn't likely to get bigger after their initial formation (except maybe from the members having kids and raising them into the horseshit). At least, that's what I see in sedevacantist groups today.

That's my impression, also, which is why, if they are going to survive in the religious marketplace, they need to consolidate. Besides, I think it would be cool if the RCC had some competition!

I've heard that, in parts of France, the movement is fairly consolidated, but, of course, in America, there's a shitton of people vying for the title of antipope, and, of course, this makes the possibility of consolidation even more remote.
