Good thing, too. Life after death just doesn't make any sense to me - an eternal life that extends only to +∞ rather than to infinity in both directions? Even in the context of a future infinity, our experiences in an infinitesimally short mortal life would fade into meaninglessness and would be woefully inadequate preparation for an unending life.
No, I'm quite content to savour earthly experiences while I'm still alive to have them, then let some other sentient being have my carbon, oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen so that they can have a go at this "life" thing too.
