I don't know if theists are like that. I don't have a list of sanctioned places you can and can't go. Now whether I'd let my children do anything by themselves is another story. Perhaps the problems lie with the autism of the child not the theology of the parent? I've known many autistic and handicapped families, and they are most assuredly on a different exponentially higher level of threat awareness and paranoia than the average parent. Understandably though, as those who are less effective at protecting themselves deserve an advocate.
As far as pedophiles, I thought all parents were concerned with that and internet awareness, regardless of your theology. I only expressed a concern for drawing more of the unwanted crowd, making life more difficult for mods and some of the more tolerated around here as it's apt to do. It was merely for selfish reasons, not for any concern for the well being of you heathens!! :ROFLOL: j/k btw, sorry if you don't know me well enough to get that and are offended.
"There ought to be a term that would designate those who actually follow the teachings of Jesus, since the word 'Christian' has been largely divorced from those teachings, and so polluted by fundamentalists that it has come to connote their polar opposite: intolerance, vindictive hatred, and bigotry." -- Philip Stater, Huffington Post
