Suppose I make a bomb out of chemical fertilizer and blow up a building, killing dozens of people and injuring hundreds more. Is DowAgro responsible for those deaths and injuries?
Why should guns be treated differently than other products?

The idea the guns companies different is absurd
Quote:Precisely. And did Schrade specifically design its knives for purpose of killing? Whether sharp objects have been used for killing in the past is irrelevant to that point.
Is Schrade going to get sued if someone is stabbed to death with one of their knives? After all - knives and other such pointy instruments were designed and used as weapons since the beginning of mankind.
Ok, let’s take something specifically manufactured AS a weapon - swords. If I kill seven or eight people with a sword, is WKC liable? They manufactured a legal product and sold it to me legally. On what grounds (legal or ethical) can the families of my victims sue the company for damages?
