String the perps up, is all I can say. I've met people all across the time that I've been alive who have bragged about "beating up queers". I've never been a bully to any sort of person. This shit makes me sick.

TBH, I grew up with "gay" and "negro" jokes, in a small redneck town in southern California. Once I joined the Navy and met PoC, the learning curve kicked in. Of course, the Navy is still has a lot of white supremacists, same as the other branches. I did actually know a guy in the '70s (Radio Man rating) who got court-martialed for "going into town and beating up queers". He lost his clearance, and so that rating. They kept him in the Navy though, and put him down in the engine room with the rest of the rednecks.   I fucking hated working in the engine room. I'm pretty much an animal, but dayam, even I have limits.
