I like fried chicken. There's a local Manitoba chain called Chicken Chef that's our first choice, with Jollibee coming in second, and I'm always on the lookout for others. Generally we don't have KFC; not a fan of their spice mix.
I don't really have the right setup to do fried chicken at home (don't have a large enough deep fryer), so most of our home-cooked chicken is done in the oven. (I do, however, have a great way of doing Buffalo wings in a very hot oven (coat with cornstarch/salt/pepper mixture and bake at 475°F for 30 minutes), and they do have a crispy fried-chicken finish).
