It has to do with feelings.
1. Either the parent feels like he is being told that he does not know how to educate/beat up his child.
This has to do with pride. The man does not like being told what to do.
2. Either the parent feels like protecting you from an attacker.
3. Maybe it is about satisfaction. He wants to get satisfied by beating up the child and only him. if another guy beats up the child, it leads to impurity.
