Gods are interested in sex because we are. It’s not a control thing, or, if we prefer..not just or only or always. Anything at all fundamental to the human experience will find a story relating that thing to gods, to the divine. That’s what they’re for.
So, yes, well tell god stories about the confluence of sex and control- but also about liberation, freedom, release.
