I’ve no doubt that reparations would solve economic issues and are, on balance, a phenomenally good idea. But what you were asked was

Since allegedly, you’re so concerned with the well-being of the black LBGTQ community, I’d like to hear some ideas from you about how we can combat the devastating issue of discrimination, oppression and violence against trans people of color (black trans women in particular) rampant in this country right now. 

 
Money does not solve ‘…discrimination, oppression, and violence against trans people of color…’. It didn’t protect prosperous Black people in your country from having entire communities destroyed, so I can’t see how it would keep Black trans women from being murdered. In fact - if history is any indication - it would exacerbate it.
