If you haven’t been following what’s been happening at Marvel and DC Comics, the two publishing companies have made huge editorial decisions to make many of their characters homosexual, bisexual, transgender, or some other LGBTQ+ identity.
As for why Van Sciver believes these characters and many more have been changed, the Cyberfrog creator stated, “My suspicion is the reason why all of this happening. The reason why this is a thing that is being accepted and promoted by Marvel and DC is that there is probably a government diversity program that is actually financially rewarding them with your tax dollars.”
