A belief is, the psychological state in which one accepts a premise or proposition as being true.
A fact something known or proven to be true. It still require us to be in the psychological state in accepting it is true (believing it).
It is a proven fact, that covid vaccines reduce the chances of getting covid, or if one gets it, it is a proven fact that it prevents death in over 90% of cases. How many people do not believe this proven fact?
For the majority of human history, humans did not believe that the earth orbited the sun, even know it has always been a fact.
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
