And there’s the root of your problem, isn’t it? Rational thinking doesn’t allow for chosen beliefs. And here you are, choosing your belief based on your personal preferences and, I suspect, comfort level with regard to gender identity and biological sex, rather than following the current available evidence to where ever it may or may not lead you. And to make matters worse, your stated reason for this preferential choice, on its face, is nothing more than an ‘appeal to tradition’ fallacy:

Again, the length of time people have believed a thing is irrelevant to its truth or falsehood. What I hate is the weaponization of those beliefs for the purpose of stomping on vulnerable, innocent people. Fringe take, I know.
