Nope. Not that at all. It is the theist that is claiming I owe God obedience and belief in spite of no evidence of existence and evidence from the stories of atrocious morality.
A pot that is conscious would certainly have the right to question the potter about how it was made.
Even if that alleged deity did give you a valid explanation, you don't owe obedience even in that case. Obedience is what dictators demand. I'd say if I cant leave you, then it still would not matter if you were saying the sky is blue.
I'd put it like this. Every society has leaders, the best leaders don't dictate and are willing to give up power as things change.
