Thing about Revelation is that it is written in such a way that one can bend and shape it to mean anything. It reads more like a drug trip than anything else.
Who is the EEC? What time period?
I guess the author wanted to write in parables bc Jesus is suppose to talk in parables. He is just following in the footsteps of Jesus.
I'm not even sure parables is the right word. There is some symbolism in Revelation.
There was something about 7 candlesticks, representing the different christian sects.
The author is upset about one of them.
There was something about a giant woman giving birth. I don't know if that is suppose to be symbolism.
I've had a few christians tell me that we are in the end of times and that Revelation is talking about today but none of them can tell me
THIS LINE refers to THIS EVENT of today.
THAT LINE refers to THAT EVENT of tomorrow.
