Pretty much. I know that I don't own anything I'd take a bullet or give a bullet for, personally. Even in the ridiulous goldilocks situation where you might have a good kill - I'd have to pack my kids and move. They can't come up playing on the floor they saw a man bleed out on. I love my guns, got a ton of em - but I think the whole defense angle isn't just a bad argument for gun ownership...it's a good argument for denying a person a rifle.
