Did you ever do the door to door thing? Or hear about it? What was the general attitude towards those who were polite and listened but seemed unswayable?
I actually did it, was about 14 at the time i sold lots of stuff as i was a cute kid. Mostly people were polite to me and listened and politely said no.
I can't remember all the options on the sheet you filled in, but it had codes for different things along with a tiny space for notes. There was an option for 'interested' a 'not interested' and a definite 'do not call again' and everything in between, all in all at the time i think there was about 7 options, but of course you could always use the note section to expand. The sheet was then handed in afterwards.
