It's been a hell of a month...I can't wait for it to be over.
The aunt of mine that was only 3 years older died in her sleep on July 3rd. She had battled an autoimmune disease for some years but had been in remission. Still not entirely sure of the the reason she died in her sleep on her 68th birthday.
My son's stepbrother went missing around the 3rd or 4th of July and was found almost two weeks later...murdered...still no answers on that.
An uncle is in bad enough shape that his his defribulator has been disconnected. It's also been advised not to bother bringing him the ER any more as there is nothing more they can do though he has been needing rather regular blood transfusions for a while.
COVID didn't get anyone in the family, so far as I know, but we have had enough loss lately.
