I will give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you are speaking about purely cosmetic issues.
There are sound reasons for straightening teeth if the bite is off or causing things like TMJ.
And I have breast implants but not due to augmentation...it was a reconstruction after having both removed.
Either way people should be able to decide what to, or not to, do in either case.
