You keep coming back to the date, but you clearly understand that the the christian interpretation of the narrative is not the traditional interpretation of the narrative.  That the two religions were both wrong about the same thing does not alter that, or certify that your christian interpretation is the traditional or conservative interpretation.

The more I look into Jewish beliefs about Daniel, the more they sound identical to the Christian ones I grew up with. That seems pretty traditional to me.
