Works out to something like two or three per cat per month, on average, yeah. We've got them beat, just in rodents alone, by far...and it's not as if we're killing the mice to eat them (more trying to stop them from consuming something like a fifth of all of our produced food, before we even get into things like disease and property damage). There's something absolutely delicious, to me, in watching the worlds premiere killers wring their hands about how many animals a cat might kill. We don't even measure most of the animals we kill by number - only weight. It's a bit more than three per month though, you can be sure of that. We're not trying to minimize it, either, we're trying to increase that number as a good indicator of human health and well being worldwide.
